Traci Leigh Thomas – born October 1, 1986
I was born in Escondido, CA on October 1, 1986 to my wonderful parents Bill and Corinne Thomas. I have two older siblings, Celeste Blake and Darren Thomas. I grew up playing soccer every week, and practically every weekend. If it wasn’t out on the grass, it was with my indoor league. I love playing sports and enjoying the outdoors through hiking, kayaking, spending time at the beach, and traveling to places that I’ve never been. I also LOVE spending time with family and friends, and especially my adorable nieces Audrey and Ally. When I graduated high school I moved all the way to Oskaloosa, IA where I played soccer for William Penn University. Some of my greatest memories and friends came from my experiences during this first semester of college. At the end of that semester I decided that Heavenly Father wanted me to move to Utah where I attended Utah Valley University for all of 2005, and then BYU from January of 2006 to April of 2008. I graduated from BYU with a degree in Recreation Management and Youth Leadership, with an emphasis in Recreational Therapy. I moved to Denver, CO in the fall of that year, and finished my degree by completing an internship for the Rocky Mountain MS Center. In February of 2009, after debating for 2 years straight, I finally decided to serve a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and was assigned to serve in the Idaho Boise Mission. I feel richly blessed to have had the experiences I’ve had throughout my life thus far, and to have the wonderful love and support from such a wonderful family. I’m even more grateful for Heavenly Father’s guiding hand in all that I’ve done and all the decisions that I’ve made that have led me to meeting the love of my life, my future eternal companion, Scott Alan Weber 🙂
Scott Alan Weber – born February 16, 1986
I was born in Nampa, ID on February 16, 1986 to Alan and Connie Weber. I have two younger siblings, Trent Weber and Clarissa Black. I grew up in Parma, ID playing sports and farming with my father and grandfather, Leonard Weber. Growing up I played all kinds of competitive sports, football, basketball, tennis, wrestling, soccer, and baseball. There wasn’t a sport I didn’t enjoy playing. I graduated from Parma High School in 2004 and then then attended Brigham Young University until June 2005 when I was called to serve a mission in the Brazil, Porto Alegre South Mission. I returned home in June 2007 and then continued my studies at Brigham Young University. I spent a good amount of my time at college trying to figure out what I wanted to do. I started out in Business, then changed majors to Civil Engineering, Economics and in Fall 2010 I finally settled into Computer Science. I withdrew from Brigham Young in October 2010 and began attending Utah Valley University in January 2011. I am now a Sophomore in the Computer Science program at UVU and enjoy everything about computer science. I am currently employed with Novell, Inc as a website administrator. I enjoy reading and learning more about the world around me. One of my favorite past-times is to travel and visit ancient ruins. I have been blessed to have the opportunity to travel quite a bit in my short lifetime and hope to be able to travel much more with the love of my life, Traci Thomas!
